About the artist

Battaglini Nicolò Orsi

Italy

Born in Florence in 1950, Nicolò Orsi Battaglini discovered photography as a child and turned it into a profession in 1977 after initially studying medicine and psychiatry. Collaborating with major Italian and international publishers, he refined his ability to capture the essence of art and architecture. Suspended from 2012 to 2024, his career now resumes with renewed passion. His work, as noted by Giovanna Cardini, merges the precision of a scientist with the sensitivity of an artist, revealing beauty in both nature and human creation.
