Razeto Giangi

Italy

Giangi Razeto, a sociologist and artist, combines innovation and design in his work. After studying youth communication and leisure societies, he developed theories like "Patchwork Generations" and "Tribe of Ones among Similars." Since 2000, he has led the Innovation & Design LAB of F.lli Razeto & Casareto. In 2015, he shifted to sculpture, creating "Contemporary Hieroglyphs," blending ancient symbols with modern themes in metal. Razeto also founded Razeto Design’n Innovation to manage his patents and intellectual properties.

A patinated brass tableau depicting a sailboat silhouette cut into a square brass sheet. Crafted from recycled brass, the piece features a richly textured surface, achieved through a salt and ammonia treatment that brings out mottled tones of blue, ochre, rust, and charcoal.
