Razeto Giangi

Born in Camogli, Genova, in 1969 Giangi is a Creative Designer, an Imagination Guru, a Trend Hunter and a Vision Sculptor.

Graduated in Sociology with a dissertation titled “Communication among Youths in clubs” he has been working for the University of Genova, studying the “Club Cultures” and “The Leisure Societies” From his studies Giangi has developed his own theories of “Patchwork Generations” and “Tribe of Ones among Similars”. All his work as has always been driven by these concepts.

Since 2000 Giangi is in charge for the Innovation & Design LAB of F.lli Razeto & Casareto S.p.A. Since 1998 Giangi creates sculptural Jewelry made out of recycled metal under the brand GNG Jewels. In 2008 Giangi founds Razeto Design’n Innovation, the company dedicated to intellectual properties, which manages his patents of inventions, designs and brands.

Since 2015 Giangi has been dedicating himself to sculpture, expressing the contradictions of our times, between reinvented emoticons and ancestral figures revisited in what himself calls “Contemporary Hieroglyphs”.
In the ancient that becomes contemporary and in the ephemeral synthesis of the hyper-technological era crystallized in metal sculptures lies the heart of Giangi Razeto’s art, his reflection on our times today, his soul as an artist who knows how to revive the cold metal with a warm light.

Since 2022 Giangi conceptualizes and executes strategies to help businesses reach their marketing, advertising and product objectives with his own parallel practice Raz8:Cre8.

His research is aimed at imposing on the market designs, concepts, formats and products that solve needs not yet felt, anticipating trends, with an eye to fashions and contaminations, from the first embryonic ideas to marketing and communication. The approach has always been that of the Imagination Guru, Trend Hunter and Vision Sculptor: observing the social fabric and the markets; concepting and designing new products, campaigns and formats; helping shape image identity; inspiring brand storytelling; coordinating marketing and communication.

His favorite play grounds include: brass sculptures; sculptural jewelry; tech inventions; design of doors ‘and cabinets’ accessories for the marine industry; trophies’ design, product design; marketing campaigns; events and formats design.
