The father, Pierluigi Spadolini, the first chair of industrial design in 1960 at the Florentine Polytechnic, already in the 1960s signed prestigious boats, such as the famous series of Akhirs of the yards of Pisa, emblematic of a new way of thinking shapes. Together with the passion for the sea, he managed to transfer the love for the drawing at the base of everything, in the conviction that it is the only way to transmit the emotional content of an idea. The deep knowledge of the sea and the secrets of the boats, combined with a very personal creative instruction, strongly marks the design of Tommaso Spadolini and his works.
