Soro Renata
Born in Sardinia, Renata Soro develops her artistic training in Genoa, where she lives and works. She has exhibited since 1990 both in Italy and abroad. The analytic aspect of her painting is mainly clear when she chooses to work within a cyclic and serial dimension, as she did in her personal exhibitions of 2006, 2009 and 2018, which showed a repertoire of subjects immersed in a suspended and perturbing atmosphere. Especially emblematic is the cycle regarding infancy, where the identities of the children are transfigured with decadent elements, such as flowers, feathers, tattoos.
