Soro Renata

Born in Sardinia, Renata Soro developed her artistic training in Genoa, where she currently lives and works. Since 1990, she has exhibited both in Italy and abroad. Her painting often takes an analytical approach, especially in her cyclic and serial works, as seen in her solo exhibitions in 2006, 2009, and 2018. These exhibitions featured subjects immersed in a suspended, unsettling atmosphere. Notably, her cycle on infancy transfigures children's identities with decadent elements like flowers, feathers, and tattoos, creating a striking contrast between innocence and decay.
