Palumbo Ciro

Ciro Palumbo, born in Zurich in 1965, began his artistic career inspired by the Metaphysical school of Giorgio de Chirico and Alberto Savinio, reinventing their principles with a unique personal interpretation. His works often feature objects that serve as dreamlike symbols, creating stage-like compositions. His time in a modern art workshop and studies with contemporary masters deepened his oil painting technique, particularly glazing. In recent years, Palumbo has expanded into sculpture, using terracotta to give three-dimensionality to the themes central to his artistic poetics.
