Colnett Linda

Linda Colnett is an artist and activist from California. After a career in advertising and public relations, she began her art practice in the 1980s. Her work has been widely exhibited in the U.S. and internationally, including Hong Kong, Paris, Mexico, Japan, Korea, and Italy. Colnett was a nominee for the SFMOMA SECA award, and her paintings were selected for the U.S. Art in Embassies Program. Her recent work focuses on tree imagery, blending paint, mixed media, sculpture, and technology. Influenced by ecology, spirituality, and cross-cultural themes, her art often explores texture and organic forms.
