About the artist

Corazziari Guido

Italy

Guido Corazziari was born on July 11, 1952, in Bari, Italy, into a family deeply rooted in the arts. His grandfather was a talented architect and artist, while his mother taught fine arts, and his father, a former movie-poster illustrator, profoundly influenced his early interest in drawing and painting. Surrounded by art books, comics, and animated characters from a young age, Corazziari’s artistic vision was shaped by a unique mix of classical and pop culture icons, from Botticelli to Superman, Picasso to Mickey Mouse. In the 1960s, the rise of pop art, especially Andy Warhol, left an indelible mark on his work. His style blends elements of neon Las Vegas with abstract expressionism, pin-up culture with classical masterpieces. After studying architecture and working as a scenic photographer in Florence during the '70s, Corazziari became a professor at the Accademia di Belle Arti. He has exhibited his works in galleries and museums worldwide, and his art continues to evolve through a fusion of architecture, fashion, and multimedia.
