About the artist

Ingenito Enrico

Italy

Enrico Ingenito (Genoa, 1978) graduated in Painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna and specialized in Visual and Performing Arts at the Ligustica Academy in Genoa. Over time, he developed a distinctive visual language centered on large-scale oil paintings that combine figuration with influences from Abstract Expressionism.

His early solo exhibitions in Genoa focused on urban landscapes, exploring themes related to analog photography and printmaking. Following an artist residency in Lithuania and an exhibition in Dordrecht, the Netherlands, his research shifted toward light, leading to atmospheric images immersed in halos of saturated color, ranging from subtle tonalities to striking contrasts.

He currently collaborates with galleries in Italy and abroad, exhibiting regularly in the Netherlands and Greece.
