Marie-Lise Laviolette is a visual artist trained in Graphic Art (ESSAM, Paris), with a BA (Hons) in Printmaking (DJCAD, Dundee) and a Masters in Fine Art (ECA, Edinburgh). Her work combines painting, drawing, photography, installation, printmaking, graphics, and the self. Solo exhibitions include Urbanities, Mundanities (2012, Lismore), iPhonology 101 (2012, Darwin), and Saltwater Displacement (2003, Darwin). Collective shows include Skin (2013, Lismore), Byron Bay Arts Classic (2013, Award winner), and Happy Yess (2011, Darwin). Laviolette has exhibited internationally in Scotland, Germany, and South Korea.
