About the artwork

Astrazione #03

Paintings. Layered resin, pigments, metal leaf, eggshell, and reclaimed fiberglass and plastic on MDF.

Hand selected by our curators

The work was created for the “Detriti” series, devoted to marine reclaimed materials. Although it is not made with recovered elements, the layering of lacquer and metal leaf recreates the chromatic effect of the sea at sunset.
