Daniela Forti, born in 1960 in Rome, is an artist who specializes in glass, a material she has studied and mastered through years of research and experimentation. After learning glassmaking techniques in Rome's artisan shops, she embraced methods like leaded glass, Tiffany, and fusion. Forti has developed a deep understanding of glass's "indomitable character," working with metal and glass through processes such as re-firing and sanding. She describes glass as a challenging yet magical medium, bending it to her will through imagination and passion.
