About the artist

Roscini Anita

Italy

Anita Roscini began her printmaking journey in 2017 after a transformative trip to Mexico, founding a studio in Rome the same year as a space for experimentation and international exchange. Trained in Fine Art Graphics at the Academy of Fine Arts, she later worked there as a lab technician and assistant. Her research explores the balance between self and matter, capturing fleeting elements—wind, ink, waves—through layered glazes, light textures and vibration. Paper and wood become essential supports, where gesture and material resistance merge in suspended, poetic instants.

About the artwork

Sconfinato

Paintings. Monotype on paper.

Hand selected by our curators

This work is a monotype print on cotton paper. By nature, monotype is the technique of the unrepeatable—allowing only one encounter between matrix and sheet. In Sconfinato, the process becomes a threshold between the visible and the ethereal. The image expands like a boundless breath, where the uniqueness of the monotype meets an ephemeral fragment suspended in an infinite horizon.
