Barattini Alessandro

Italy

Alessandro Barattini, born on February 19, 1968, in Lodi, Italy, began his artistic journey in music, studying for 10 years at the Lodi Conservatory. His career initially took him to graphic design, where he worked as a window and sign decorator. A motorcycle enthusiast, he later ventured into customizing helmets and race bikes, working with the Superbike World Championship. In the early 2000s, he turned to mixed media on canvas and, more recently, to sculpture, incorporating aluminum, plexiglass, and eco-friendly materials. Barattini’s work reflects a continuous evolution, influenced by his racing background and encounters with key art figures, including sculptor Urano Palma, a student of Lucio Fontana.
