Costa Giacomo

Giacomo Costa is an Italian artist primarily concerned with photography, which he often digitally alters in order to generate a futuristic urban landscape. These fantastic, apocalyptic images borrow their aesthetic from science fiction literature and film, where architecture takes on a colossal scale. Pulverised landscapes and lonely structures that inhabit anonymous cities are a constant element in this series, a metaphor for the depersonalisation that affects contemporary metropolises whose buildings soar above the human scale.
His work has been reviewed by the following international magazines: El Pais, Es (cover), Digital Photo, Ru (cover), Silver Shotz, Uk (cover), Exit, Es (cover), Evolo, Usa, Photography, Korea, Photo Magazine, D., Art, D., Frame, A, C-Photo magazine, UK.
