About
The transience of life recurs cyclically in nature, the charm of cut flowers with varied shapes and colours are the fulcrum of the CRIOFLAWERS project. Flowers are picked up at the exact moment in which everything ends: frozen and then beauty stopped for an eternal instant, to be then thrown, still linked to natural freshness, until they split, crumble into a thousand pieces, almost disintegrating matter and spirit. Photography captures that unique and unrepeatable moment, where the repetition of the gesture is no longer possible and the return to life is lost in memory, in the memory, in the pathos that never returns.
