This photo was taken during a trip to Sicily made last September, as part of a project on Southern Italy (I had already photographed since 2017, Campania, Puglia, Basilicata and Sicily itself) and that was supposed to continue in 2020 by visiting Abruzzo, Calabria and Campania.

About the artist, Pollini Gianluca
Gianluca Pollini was born in 1960. He lives and works in Bologna. He began photographing in 1982 dealing with naturalistic reportage, collaborating with the Panda Photo Photographic Agency in Rome until 2012.
From 1993 he started working mainly with medium format (Hasselblad) using 120 b / w film, preferring still life (in the studio) and landscape images.
From 1998 to 2008 her works were treated by the Image Gallery of Daniela Facchinato in Bologna, the first photo gallery opened in Bologna.
